A widow’s home/kitchen
Egbelu Uvuru, Aboh Mbaise | August 26, 2024
In August 2024, Rehoboth Widows & Orphans Foundation completed a significant project in Egbelu Uvuru, Aboh Mbaise. The initiative, which took three months to complete, provided the widow with a sturdy two-room home featuring proper roofing, concrete flooring, and secure doors and windows. Additionally, a functional detached kitchen was constructed with improved ventilation to reduce smoke-related health hazards. Local volunteers also participated in the construction efforts, demonstrating the power of community collaboration in transforming lives.
The widow expressed profound gratitude, sharing that the new home has restored her dignity and provided her with security she hasn't felt in years. This project aligns with our mission to provide practical support to widows facing challenging living circumstances.
