Widows
On December 15 & 16, 2021, we had the privilege of hosting a special Christmas celebration for the widows of Nguru Community/Oke Uvuru in Aboh Mbaise L.G.A., Imo State, Nigeria. The event brought together women from across the community for a day filled with joy, fellowship, and practical support.
The celebration included:
A communal feast with traditional Nigerian dishes and refreshments
Words of encouragement and support from community leaders
Prayer and fellowship
Beyond the celebration, we were able to provide substantial material assistance to each widow, including:
25kg bags of rice to ensure food security through the holiday season
New clothing materials appropriate for daily wear and special occasions
Essential cooking supplies including canned tomato paste, onions, and salt
In total, our foundation distributed 100 bags of rice and corresponding quantities of other essentials, reaching widows across the entire community.
